Hotel not fit for purpose - arrogant staff
普劳恩公园酒店的点评
点评：Although my wife and I have stayed at this hotel previously (nice rooms, good restaurant), this time was a disaster. I needed to have early breakfast at 6:30 (the advertised start-time) as I had planned to check-out at 7:30 for an important appointment.
Not only was the breakfast room dark (with no light switch) but there was no one at Reception and no tables set or food already brought out.
Another hotel employee (i.e. not associated with breakfast) turned up at 7:25 and started to set up the breakfast room but this was without explanation or apology for the delay of almost 1 hour.
I duly checked out and requested that the Management should contact me as regards settlement of the bill for my overnight stay (having given my credit card details as a "booking guarantee")
When I returned home, I found an email informing me that my credit card had been charged (as it happens with an inflated amount) which was without my authority, in fact contrary to my explicit instructions. The sender again offered no apology and discourteously wrote to me with the female form of address (in German) despite the self-evident fact that I am and always have been male.
This hotel with its ill-mannered, dilatory staff is to be avoided.
