Carisma Spa & Wellness at Intercontinental的点评
点评：The absolute nadir of my stay was the spa facilities. Calling them a disaster would be an understatement. The changing rooms were stuffy and cramped, lacking any semblance of comfort or hygiene. It felt more like a public locker room than a facility in a supposed luxury hotel.
The pool area was overrun with unsupervised children, turning what should have been a serene environment into a chaotic free-for-all. The steam room was beyond revolting, smelled of urine and had mold all over. It was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in ages, posing serious health risks to anyone who dared to enter.
The showers were another horror story. They consistently overflowed, creating hazardous, slippery floors and contributing to the overall sense of neglect and mismanagement. As if this wasn't enough, the cushions on the deckchairs were filthy, adding another layer of grime to an already appalling experience.
And then there was the sauna. Out of order and when I asked the attendant he said its been over 10 days out of order. This is laughable and indicative of the hotel's complete lack of care for its guests. No five-star establishment should allow such a crucial amenity to remain nonfunctional for such an extended period. It's blatantly clear that management is more interested in saving money than in providing a quality experience.
The overall shabbiness and neglect are a testament to the management's penny-pinching approach. This place is a disgrace to the Intercontinental brand and a blight on Malta's hospitality industry. This level of neglect and incompetence cannot go unchallenged. I have found the local tourism authorities contact details and will be submitting all pictures and video footage I have.
To anyone considering a stay at the Intercontinental Hotel Malta, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this hotel at all costs.
