点评：Me and my fiancé came for a few drinks after the Sunderland match on Saturday. We had been before and enjoyed it. This time around was a completely different story! We sat at a table that said it was reserved at 7:45, considering it was 5pm the time I had sat down whilst the other half was getting us drinks. A young lady came over said I couldn’t sit here as it was reserved. I mentioned it was reserved at 7:45 but she was very insistent I couldn’t sit there and I would be ‘contaminating’ the seats and cutlery (her words not mine!). She said this was policy at the restaurant but she couldn’t have said this in a ruder way. The way she spoke to me was despicable, and others who were sat around the area agreed this wasn’t acceptable. I told her it was rude way of speaking to me and she kept asking if I needed a manager which I politely said no. We said we can sit on another table next to it. Two groups sat on this very same table we weren’t allowed to sit on and this young lady did not batter an eyelid or ask them to move once. We complained to the manager and were slightly disappointed with the response that the young lady apologised. It was less than sincere considering she laughed with her other colleague and seemed very unapologetic the whole time we were there. She gave us a very snide goodbye when we left, and seemed very pleased with herself. Really disappointed with the service, and genuinely very childish reaction from this young lady. Spoke to a few people in the pub who commented on poor communication and service from the staff. Doesn’t seem like anything has changed. Very disappointing as this place has loads of potential!
