点评：We came here as a group of 25 people, with the table reserved one day in advance. Despite this, the restaurant clearly did not make arrangements to ensure there was enough staff to serve us properly. This was actually our second visit in two weeks, and while the first time was slightly better, the service was also very slow. On our second visit, it took 40 minutes just to get our drinks – not to mention the food. We waited over an hour before the dishes were finally served. Perhaps if the drinks had arrived earlier, the wait for the food would not have felt as long, but on such a warm day it was especially frustrating to be sitting with empty glasses when everyone was thirsty.
As for the food, impressions were mixed. The avocado and shrimp starter was fairly good, though the flavor could have been more vibrant and less bland. The biggest disappointment, however, was the parmigiana. This dish was prepared very poorly. I had learned to cook parmigiana in Italy from an Italian chef, so I know how it should taste – rich and well-balanced. Here it was essentially just baked eggplant with a bit of topping and some sauce placed on the plate. Inside, the eggplant had no flavor at all, and the amount of sauce was minimal, which made it even more unbalanced, especially given that two whole eggplants were served. It was a real disappointment and felt like a waste of money. In the end, I ate one piece simply because I was already very hungry, since the starter was small and the thought of waiting another hour for something else was unbearable.
Overall, the slow service and disappointing main course left us very dissatisfied, and unfortunately this visit was a major letdown.
