点评:The restaurant is located in a fabulous natural setting, overlooking the lake, surrounded by mountains, ideal for a relaxed fine dining. The right time to eat on the terrace is during the day, the evening could be a bit chilly for that. And then the view isn't that spectacular either.
We waited for the amuse bouche in vain, so the soup was quite welcome after a day of hiking. The pheasant soup was the best, they said it was the chef's specialty. If the rest of the food had been as good as this soup, I don't think we would have found a table there even with a reservation. The other one, the cream of mushroom soup was average.
Even the main courses could not match the high expectations set by the pheasant soup. The meat from the venison stew with mushrooms should have been cooked longer ... it was tough and chewy.
The beef rissoles with green salad should not have been included in the menu, its taste was below the level of a fine dining restaurant, closer to some "push the tray" places. At the end, we enjoyed sweets and the charming view with a glass of wine ... the best moment of our lunch.
The food was generally okish, but not outstanding, with prices worthy of fine dining. It does not deserve a special trip, but a short stop for sure, especially since there are not too many other options in that area. At least for the view offered, it got an overall score of 3/5.
