Overpriced food for tiny portions-underwhelming!

点评：We visited we three of our grandchildren (two aged 10 and one aged 12) as a treat for the older one's birthday.
This is a nice pub, attractive outside and in, plenty of parking spaces plus a large beer garden/play area at the back. Staff were friendly and attentive.
The menu is fairly extensive but we thought it a bit pricey. The three children each had a child's meal (£6.95), one a burger and the other two had pizza, eldest boy chose to have mash with his, the others had chips. I had the Peri Peri grilled chicken, hubby had Hunter's Chicken.
We were quite shocked when the food arrived as to how tiny the portions were, smallest pizzas we've ever seen, hardly any chips, a tiny spoonful of mash and tiny little pots of peas each. The adult meals too were tiny, got to be the smallest piece of chicken I've ever been served in a restaurant, hardly any chips or salad, hubby's was the same. Food wasn't very warm, needless to say the children finished their meals in no time and were still hungry so they all shared my chips.
To fill the void of a non meal they all had a dessert, again quite pricey for not a lot.
We were quite aggrieved considering how much money we spent for really not very much.
This pub has a lot going for it but we were all totally disappointed and although we may visit again it definitely won't be for food.
