El Dorado Nature Reserve的点评
点评：We arrived to a magnificent sunset. For each night thereafter, we went to the restaurant to view the sunset. We weren't disappointed. One evening, we even saw a rainbow. Normally we would look up to view the rainbow, this time most of the rainbow was below eye level, interesting.
The Koguihab was roomy. The view was stunning. Even at night I could make out the peaks, it was like having a painting right out the window. When I turn onto my back, I'm in awe of the roof, it is an amazing sight.
There was a day of no power. It was not an issue for us. There was a day+ of brown water out of the faucets. We used the potable water from the restaurant to brush teeth. When we arrived, we were told the internet service provider is Starlink, thus no interruption during the power outage. (The restaurant is only the place with internet service.) As for insects, the Koguihab isn't perfectly sealed, insects do find a way in. One last mention on the accommodation is to bring your own shampoo, it is not provided.
We looked forward to lunch and dinner wondering what fresh fruit juice would be served. We enjoyed our first juice so much that we asked for seconds. Alas sugar cane juice came instead. Similarly, soup variety was just as many, and also made of the freshest ingredients. Hot chocolate is very good. Chamomile tea was heavenly, it's not the tea bag sort. Thank you very much for offering it. We were looked after very well by the staff. Thank you!!
Ah, as for the birds, it was great when we had a guide. On the days when we didn't, we didn't have so much luck. On those quieter days, we spent a lot of time at the restaurant. There are a number of hummingbird feeds, I've never see so many hummingbirds, so close. The birds would fly up to us from time to time, amazing. When hanging out at the restaurant one morning, I saw a pair of military macaws fly slight below eye level, for at least a minute, a beautiful sight.

啊，至于鸟，有导游的时候真是太好了。没有导游的日子，我们就没那么幸运了。在那些比较安静的日子里，我们在餐厅里花了很多时间。有很多蜂鸟喂食，我从来没有见过这么多蜂鸟，离得这么近。鸟儿们不时飞到我们身边，太神奇了。一天早上在餐厅闲逛时，我看到一对军用金刚鹦鹉在眼睛以下飞翔，至少有一分钟，真是美丽的景象。
