点评：Obviously very popular on a Sunday and no wonder!
The lamb melted in your mouth and I had a taste of the flat iron steak frites. The latter was astonishing in its quality and juiciness - thicker than normal and so pink inside, but cooked to perfection as medium rare.
The veg was again perfect, so unusual in even the more expensive places - al dente and full of the original vegetable taste.
The gravy and sauces were voted top-notch by all of us.
We are only in the area once a month visiting and taking out my mother in law but my wife (who is in food and drink) straightaway booked a future table for the whole family to meet there and enjoy the fare.
Well done to Vicky who fairly recently took over the place and has brightened it considerably from its previous darkened interior.
She tells us there a a big refurb soon - so, even more to look forward to.
The prices were v reasonable at £25 for a two course roast dinner.
