Fox & Pheasant Inn的点评
点评：We booked the evening before for a table for 2 stating we didn't have a dog with us. We hav3 eat3n here occasionally and had aome nice meals s9 chose the Fox for a birthday meal. We turned up this evening told the staff that we had booked and one of the girls said we were on table 10 to be told by the other girl that no we weren't and was directed to a table with no reserve sign on it. I asked if we could sit somewhere else as we were surrounded by dogs and she told us it was fully booked and there was nowhere else to sit. During our time there only one table of 3 was taken up so we were very disappointed that we had been lied to.
The food was edible but nothing special and the side salad had no tomato but did have a handful of chillies... strange combination.
One member of staff in particular was very surly and not interested in the customer at all. Shame because it was a nice local for us. Won't be rushing back unfortunately. Don't waste your money here and avoid the seating to the left of the entrance as it is like a kennels.
