点评：My son had his 12th birthday party here, I wish we’d read the negative reviews before hand!
This place is basically set up to extract as much money out of you as possible, with no ethical code about how they do this.
We purchased a birthday party package with 300 paintballs per child, which head office told me would be adequate for the party’s age group. We budgeted accordingly and told my son he could invite 10 children.
Half an hour into game play on the day, we were told they had run out of paintballs and we’d have to purchase more or finish the party early. Held to ransom, we had to pay an extra £90 to purchase more paintballs - and we told the boys that was their lot.
When we got home, my son told us the staff had said to them at the start ‘if you run out of paintballs, don’t worry you can just return to base to get more’ - nobody mentioned they’d be an additional cost involved, so being 12 year old boys they assumed this meant that paintballs were not limited and played the game accordingly.
The staff were a lot more concerned with making more money than being entertaining, at best they were flat.
All of the boys went home with bruises despite being assured beforehand that this was much less likely now.
Barely any of the paintballs actually exploded, they just bounced off people - meaning it wasn’t a satisfying game for the boys.
Left with a bad feeling of having been ripped off. I phone up the next day to complain and was fobbed off.
