点评：If you are looking for a poshed-up gourmet Sunday lunch, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you appreciate old-fashioned good value and good service in a friendly country setting, I recommend the New Inn. Up until recently I used to go to the other pub in the village, but the quality of the Sunday roast there has fallen. So we decided to go back to the New Inn (which has also seen its fair share of ups and downs). The Sunday roast portions and variety of elements was impressive given that the meals only cost £11.95! This is astoundingly good value as most Sunday roasts seem to average £18 these days. My only slight criticism would be that the veg was a tad overcooked and the meat was sliced too thinly (although this seems to be very common wherever you go these days). There was a choice of four meats when we visited. The serving staff are very young but helpful, attentive and friendly. We were all very happy with the experience.
