点评：After arriving 10 minutes late for our booking we were greeted by our brunch served up on side plates (eggs, sausage and bacon) and already cold on the table. When we asked why hot food would be served before the guests arrived, we were told it was served up at the time we booked as their kitchen is too small. When we insisted that the food would be reheated, it turned into a complete fiasco whereby members of our party had to help serve our guests.
We were booked in again that evening for hot food at 7.30 pm and I was told by a deputy manager that the food would be on the table at that time regardless of whether we were there or not. There would be no grace period. Luckily, we didn't eat there in the end and had delicious, hot food elsewhere in Athlone.
Athlone is a great town with lots of lovely places to eat and drink. Unfortunately Maisies is not one of them.
