Extremely rude owner; No regards for guest safety

点评：I booked a room having stayed in this BnB before for work. I mentioned when I booked that I would arrive at approximately 9:30pm as I was driving from Galway (5 and a half hour trip) after a half day of work. I was visiting Castletownbere for work reasons. I rang 2 hours before arriving as a courtesy to say I would arrive at 9:45pm, which was a few minutes later than I had arranged.
Unfortunately 10 minutes outside of castletownbere I crashed my car and completely damaged my wheel, leaving it undriveable. I was in shock but managed to ring the BnB to explain that I had crashed and would be late as I was trying to arrange recovery for myself and my car.
Dennis was extremely rude on the phone saying "you were probably speeding, if you left earlier to get here on time then you wouldn't of crashed, I am here till 10pm, do not ring me after that and do not book here again".
Not only did this man not offer me any assistance or even ask if I was injured but instead thought it would be appropriate to reprimand me for crashing my car (even though he did not know the circumstances of my crash) and leave me stranded, scared and alone on a country road located only 10 minutes from him.
This is in my view totally unacceptable behaviour. I was stranded in Castletownbere with no accommodation after having a traumatic crash late at night. I am very lucky that my Cork based work colleagues were able to help me and found me another BnB nearby who took me in and made sure I was okay as I was in complete shock after the crash.
I have never been so disgusted at someone's behaviour in this day and age, Dennis should be ashamed of himself. He left me in an extremely vulnerable position and with events of late I cannot get over his lack of empathy and concern.
