Not just the worst Indian, but one of the worst meals we’ve ever had

点评:As three diners who’ve travelled and eaten far and wide, we used to always fall back on Indian as a meal that couldn’t go wrong, no matter where we were in the world. Unfortunately it took a meal in Bantry, in our home country, to prove us wrong. The potato cakes were deep fried, which I’ve never seen before. They just tasted of grease. Main courses were awful. Hit plates were brought out but then they forgot about us, they had cooled by the time they brought the mains over half an hour later. Saag paneer was inedible, the spinach was burnt, disgusting, worst ever. The rice tasted like it was a from a microwaved bag, the naan tasted raw and of flour, the chicken biryani was chicken tikka with rice and random tasteless veg on top. Served on a plate, not a proper biryani pot. Only positive was byob and the staff offering a wine cooler. Avoid at all costs. Truly disgusting.
