Beautiful Setting with Good Food and Pleasant Efficient Servers.

点评：We called in on a mid week evening without a reservation, to be greeted and seated promptly and politely. The restaurant interior is fresh, roomy, spotlessly clean and comfortable with a pleasant ambiance, whilst the external setting just outside Midleton is attractive, with ample easy parking and outdoor seating set among trees and a rambling stream. I imagine it would be a lovely family setting for a Sunday lunch on a sunny afternoon.
We opted for arancini and pork belly starters, which were not without issue, yet such was dealt with by the efficient servers, politely, seamlessly and without fuss, hence I thought it unreasonable to penalise the establishment for such, particularly as to be absolutely fair to the establishment they did, and quite correctly, inquire as to why I didn't return the dish and afford them an opportunity to rectify the situation.
Both dishes were well conceived and elegantly presented, however the pork belly was seriously overdone, which not even the balancing green apple sauce could rescue, whilst the vegetable crisps accompanying the arancini were not crisp, however the roasted pepper sauce of the arancini dish was inspired.
For mains I opted for the beef cheek, which was a beautifully rich. flavorsome and balanced dish. It had an intense beef flavor without the usual overriding and over powering background wine flavor, and accompanied by a rich smooth creamy mash and vegetables. Each ingredient belonged on the plate and added to the overall dish.
My partners smashed burger was simple, yet pleasant and flavorsome with nicely cooked fries.
The star of our dining experience, as is always the case with good dining, was most definitely the serving staff, who were polite, friendly, attentive and efficient, without in any way being overbearing or intrusive to our meal.
I will most definitely be a returning customer.

我伙伴的“Smashed Burger”（碎汉堡）做法简单，但味道鲜美，配上炸薯条也恰到好处。
我们用餐体验中最精彩的部分，正如所有美食一样，无疑是服务员，他们彬彬有礼、友好热情、细心周到、服务高效，丝毫没有咄咄逼人或打扰到我们用餐。
