点评：Having dined at Bistrot de Messeugne many times over the years, I’m disappointed by how far this place has fallen. Our most recent visit was a complete disaster from start to finish. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children, and it took 30 minutes to receive drinks, a further 45 minutes for just the children’s hot dogs and fries to arrive. We then waited another 45 minutes before finally asking what was going on - only to be told it was because they had just cleared entrees… we hadn’t had any entrees!
It turned out the kitchen had never received our order at all due to a so-called “tech issue.” When the food finally arrived in a rushed panic, my wife’s salad came topped with RAW chicken. The other meals were similarly rushed and underwhelming.
What was supposed to be a special birthday meal turned into a frustrating and unenjoyable experience. We ended the lunch at home with ice cream, unwilling to risk waiting another hour for a dessert that might never come.
There are plenty of lovely places to eat in this area—sadly, Bistrot de Messeugne is no longer one of them.
