点评:We used to enjoy ordering takeout from Zorros Pizza in Ripon but our last two orders have had nothing but problems.
One our order before last we ordered 2x 'Zorro burgers' in the chicken option. We were give plain chicken burgers. Luckily we checked at the counter before taking it away & the chef basically chucked 2 slices of bacon & 2 onion rings into a box & told us it was our own fault for not ordering properly! How can we get more accurate than ordering what it's called on the menu? The guy on the phone even repeated it back to it. They were very rude about it.
The next issue was on our last order. We ordered 2x Zorro burgers again with chicken & also ordered a 'pork lovers' pizza. It looked okay when we checked at the counter but on getting it home realised that they'd gotten it wrong again! They had given us a 'Zorro pork' instead of a 'pork lovers'. We called them & spoke to them to explain the mistake & they told us that it must be our fault again because there's no way that the guy would get it wrong. I explained that we definitely would not have made this mistake as the 'Zorro pork' contained mushroom which my Husband doesn't eat & spinach which I'm allergic to so it's a good job it wasnt me that took the bites to notice the mistake! Whereas the 'pork lovers' contains neither so is safe for me to eat. They were not at all bothered that they could have just made me severely ill & just kept repeating that it's my own fault. I told them that I would be bringing the whole meal back for fresh ones, including the burgers which would be cold due to having to drive backwards & forwards to get the correct pizza. The guy informed me that he would consult the owner as he is only the manager & claimed that all calls are recorded so he would check. When I queried this he made some sketchy excuses so I don't believe they are actually recorded which is a shame as it would have put him right instantly! We got a new correct pizza & fresh burgers so that we could finally come home to attempt to enjoy our meal over an hour later than planned but they were both so rude on arriving at the shop. There have been times when there's been a language barrier or misunderstanding & if we are to blame we would always hold our hands up & accept responsibility. However, both of these mistakes were purely on the behalf of the man on the phone miscommunicating to the kitchen yet tried repeatedly to blame us. I'm not sure why they'd have similar items on the menu if they can't actually distinguish between them! Looking at the reviews, we're certainly not the only ones that have had issues with rude managers but we definitely won't be back. I'll wait out for a sarcastic reply to my review!
