点评：We visited here this evening, and I am very sad to report on our experience. Myself and my husband and our 2 small grandsons went in for tea. We were told that there was an extra 15 minute wait (even though the restaurant appeared empty) but let’s be positive at this stage and enjoy our company play games and wait… wait we did- for over an hour (while waiting I cleared the table of the previous visitors dirty dishes to the bar) I was concerned with the amount of time it was taking so went to the bar and asked. I was told they were busy and were having issues with the kitchen? After a further long wait - food was served… having had so much time to fulfill our order, I expected good quality food worthy of the wait. Children were served first… it was put to the table, obviously it must be self service because no cutlery provided. Little one wanted chicken nuggets and beans - the beans were baked to the pot they were served in! Adults food came next - My husband ordered steak - medium rare - it was cremated! No steak knife provided. In general the food was microwaved at best - overcooked and mostly waisted. Not once did we have the curtesy waitor/ waitress visit to see if our food was ok! Waisting most of it, I went to pay. I told the staff about our issues which was shrugged of as though that was the normal.
We are local - we have seen the bad reviews regarding the new management - we chose to ignore the reviews and make our own opinion.
Don’t waist your time or money - go to Calow chip shop - you will receive better service and most certainly better food.
