点评：Looking for something more healthy to eat than the fare from one of the big chain fast food outlets we happened upon the Pear Tree cafe , and boy are we glad we did.
A warm friendly greeting inviting us to sit down and peruse the menu was just the start you would want in any establishment.
Order in and I was barely seated when lunch was on the table, fantastic " fast food" !
We both had salads, a
Ceaser and the Pear Tree house salad.
Beautifully presented and tasting every bit as good as they looked, we were very glad we walked in here.
Tender chicken strips , served on two huge salads, with a side dressing, I remarked this " Pear Tree" salad was just about the best I've ever had.
We each had a macaroon to finish our lunch, I washed mine down with good old tap water, free, and my wife had a pot of red berry tea .
We will be visiting again and again, could not fault it.
