Fantastic food, drink and craic experience on the river Bann!!!

点评：I booked the ‘The Spirit of the Bann’ river whiskey tasting experience for my Mum’s birthday during a family reunion in nearby Portrush. This was a fabulous experience! Wendy was such a friendly and welcoming host and understandably proud to showcase locally sourced excellent food, as well as highlighting suppliers and artisans of the area. Tim presented a selection of whiskeys and was knowledgeable and engaging. I must admit that prior to this I was not a fan of whiskey but following this I realise that I had not sampled quality whiskeys and am now a convert!
Fiona and Ian were so cordial and knowledgeable about the history and natural wildlife of the region and the river- we really enjoyed chatting with them and learning more about the fascinating history.
There were delightful thoughtful touches throughout the afternoon and my Mum has not stopped raving about the trip - I am so chuffed.
My family were visiting from England and Wales and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They went shopping the following day and are returning home with suitcases full of foods they sampled and Bushmills whiskey!!
I would highly recommend this experience and we are looking forward to trying another of the food tours.
