点评：I had some business in the Valley Business Park, Newtownabbey where the cafe's located. Whilst awaiting for one of the business venues to open, I unexpectedly found this cafe. It's located in what appears to be an old office or factory complex. When I ventured inside, it seemed like a works canteen with just plain and simple with monochromatic wall prints for decoration.
I ordered a cup of coffee with milk and was served immediately. The staff offer a sit-in or takeaway service. I chose the former and had the chance to relax on one of the leather-upholstered armchairs - there's also a sofa.
I had the opportunity to study the many menu items. My coffee cost £1.50. Tea's £1.30. Soup of the day's £3.75. Very cheap compared to some other cafes which charge between £5 and £7 for the same thing. Burgers are between £3 and £3.50; chicken curry £5.50; tuna salad £4.50. The menu is subdivided as breakfast, lunch and kid's meals. Children are most welcome in the cafe but there's a notice asking parents to keep their children supervised at all times.
Cafe Cosh also has free wi-fi. But don't bother asking any of the staff for the log-in details. Just read the notice in the cafe and sign yourself in.
Good cheap food, pleasant and prompt service. I'll definitely recommend Cafe Cosh for the hidden jewel that it is.
