点评：We first came here very soon after it first opened a year or so ago. It was not good. We put it down to early teething problems and went again some weeks later, but there was no improvement.
Fast forward a year or so, new local management, high profile involvement. We gave it another go. I just so like the concept of this that I really do want it to work.
The Good.
Nice vibe. Good location. Nice staff.
The Bad.
The need to ask for everything.
Ask to order. (we waited almost 30 minutes)
Ask for cutlery !
Ask for condiments
Ask to pay.
What they didn't have.
More butter for the delicious bread rolls (£6.95) The amount provided was miniscule, and just how does a restaurant run out of butter!)
Avocado for the salad that listed avocado as a main ingredient.
The food. Just about passable. The lamb leg steak was very fatty with lots of gristle. Cheap meat with a premium price tag. But wonderful chips and charred baby tomatoes!
Finally, when visiting the Gents, I spotted a board with specials. Oh, I would have ordered that. I just didn't know the board existed.
There is a serious lack of attention to detail here, and seemingly nobody in actual control. The young staff are great and try hard, but many of the older staff seem to spend too much of their time yakking behind the bar or sitting outside instead of running the place and paying attention to the customers. There needs to be someone constantly running an eye over every single table looking for anything wrong.
A shake up is needed, another one. This should and could be one of the towns' top places to eat. Right now it isn't.

需要彻底整顿，再整顿一次。这家餐厅应该，也有可能成为城里最好的餐厅之一。但现在它还不是。
