点评：Have been going to Gerry's since the early '80s and until recently the food was always fresh and well prepared. Portion sizes were good, prices very reasonable and the staff great. Most of them were family of the owner but the place has since been sold.
Went in yesterday just to buy some of their crunchy roast potatoes and a piece of pumpkin for dinner. Never checked the food until ready to eat at home. Everything was awful and clearly reheated - potatoes soggy & dark brown and pumpkin brown & dried up.
The server had also covered everything with a thick dusting of chicken salt without asking. No choice given to people on a low salt diet or vegan or vegetarian!
To be fair, the person I spoke to apologized & refunded my money when I went back the next day with the inedible food. As this is the second time I've had a poor experience since the new owners took over, doubt I'll ever go back. They've had long enough to sort out any teething problems.
