点评：Recently reopened after new owners extensive refurb.
Tasteful and lighter use of pastels and wood giving it a more Mediterranean feel.
Nice to enjoy a pre-dinner beer at the reinstated bar.
Great selection of ales and lagers and a good pint of Guinness.
Interesting wine list too.
Our meal was tasty and well presented in the refreshed Restaraunt area.
Starters of sea bream and red mullet were excellent.
My particular favourite risotto full of spring beans and asparagus didn’t dissapoint. The mushroom and
Leek flan just missed a flavour punch.
Skinny fries and salad to accompany were standard and tasty but a little meagre for the normal £5 portion charge.
Sweet menu is limited as is the taste , chocolate mousse was underwhelming and the basque cheesecake flavourless, the fresh strawberries in a jammy sauce helped tho.
Staff and subsequent service were all excellent.
Not cheap tho.
