点评：4 of us all had filet steak last night. It was fabulous but expensive. £33 for the steak. It came with nothing, not even a garnish! £3 for a sauce, £5.50 for chips, £5 for a side salad or side vegetable.
The steak was beautiful and very tasty, cooked exactly as ordered.
Service was ok. Very friendly on arrival. Not quite as attentive as needed at the table. We had to look around for staff to order drinks at the table both times. We asked for a gap before ordering desert and the staff never came back with menus or to take an order. We wanted a night cap outside in the garden area and the drinks didn’t arrive until after we chased up the order.
The pub decor looks amazing. Fantastic new front doors and the it has been decorated to look very contemporary but comfortable.
The garden area is lovely, comfortable seating and patio heaters. Nice to pop in for a drink. Dogs are allowed in the bar and garden.
7/10 - I would go again. The menu is very limited and definitely a steak house.
