点评：This is our third time coming here, and once again, there is nothing to complain about. Coming down for the UFC, lunch was an afterthought. However, the meals were amazing!
I had the pie which changes daily. Today, it was Chicken Cacciatore, which was amazing! At first I was a little disappointed that the mash was cold, but as I left the meal on the table untouched for a few minutes it was the small bits that weren't covered by the pie or gravy that had cooled. Everything (including the mash) was, in fact, hot and wonderful.
My partner had the steak sandwich that he devoured happily, and his friend had the Parmigiana, which, as in every pub, is a massive favourite. The meals were large and filling.
The staff were friendly, smiling, and happy to assist when asked questions. This is definitely a place to consider to bring the family on a weekend for a nice lunch meal and a relaxing time with friends while the kids play.
Being a Sunday, there was live music outside from about 1pm. The only "complaint" I have with that, is that he kept turning his self up and not closing the door he was next to, which was annoying when trying to listen to and watch the UFC. This is not on the pub or staff. It is on the musician.
Highly recommend and love coming here when we want a nice meal with our friends.
