点评：This is a good quality hotel that seems to be on the up, with money having been spent in most of the right places. Decor is nice in public areas and the turret room we had, but the room furniture (excluding the bedroom) needs scrapping and replacing.
The room fridge did not work, and the separate toilet was minuscule, which was odd because the adjacent bathroom was large with a double basin.
Silly things like a kettle with too short a lead to plug it in from where it was positioned which can easily be corrected; and not enough drawer storage in a living area easily large enough to have it.
There is a nice hot tub in a separate building that can be booked for €30 per 45 mins, but it was not made clear that this was charged separately which it should have been - still worth it though.
Barman terrible and lets the place down, and what sort of hotel lets their barman have his dinner at 6.30-7.00pm when people want pre-dinner drinks?
Dinner generally good but desserts disappointing, and when the main maître d’ is not working the wheels come off in the dining room. Breakfast excellent, except the machine coffee which was rubbish.
Overall a pleasant stay, but I’d look elsewhere if I stayed in the area again.
