点评：The Orvieto funicular is easy and convenient to use. Buy your ticket from the gift store
off the parking lot for the round trip. FYi - the bathrooms here are pay toilets but were the cleanest I’ve ever been in. Seriously. Make sure you go past the train entry area to the funicular. It doesn’t seem to be marked very well but we figured it out. And, the funicular does not stop running for a lunch break. I doubled and tripled checked. Once you get up the hill, a bus will soon be by to take you right to the main square. It will come right outside the funicular drop off point. It was a very enjoyable short trip. The Orvieto Cathedral is amazing. We walked down the streets enjoying all the shops and restaurants. Everyone enjoys themselves here. We ended up walking to the funicular station to catch the ride down. It’s very doable but it also was lovely spring weather.
