点评：My wife and I visited St. Stephen's Green in Spring Lake Heights, making a reservation for 6:15 pm. However, upon arrival, the hostess couldn't find our reservation. Fortunately, a manager intervened and seated us at a tiny table for two.
The service was slow, and our waitress seemed unsure about the menu. When I asked about Jaegermeister, she awkwardly pointed me to the beer selection in the back of the menu. We ordered drinks, but my wife's Old Fashioned was the only redeeming quality.
For dinner, my wife enjoyed the fresh salmon, while I opted for the chicken pot pie, which lacked consistency. We also ordered desserts, but both were disappointing. The creme brûlée was gross, with an unpleasant holiday twist featuring cranberries and almonds. My wife's chocolate peanut butter pie had a stale top, but the peanut butter and bottom layers were moist.
Despite the issues, I gave the waitress a 20% tip. However, the final straw was almost tripping on the rug on our way out. The atmosphere was also not what we expected from an Irish pub – very bright and noisy.
Overall, our experience was disappointing, and we won't be returning to St. Stephen's Green.
