点评:We went to Manillas for breakfast. About half of the cafe was taken, plenty of seating left, so we sat down at a table for 2!
After sitting at the table for a good five minutes with no staff interaction, a waitress came over and asked if we’d like to order, so I asked if we could have the menus. She came back with the menus and said “just for future reference, you need to wait by the door to be seated!” At that point I thought - no thanks, gave it a minute to process how rude this comment was, said thank you and we left.
I love the idea of Manillas, the location is great, it’s local to us etc and I always want it to be good. But to be honest, every time we go, it always feels like you’re doing them a favour being there, the staff are so very rude. It also feels dirty, the table cloths don’t feel well wiped and the china is vintage but all chipped and crazed. I was in second thoughts whether to go for breakfast due to past experiences, but the rude staff made our minds up!
Sad really as this place could be fantastic!
After leaving we went to Milford Marina for breakfast - that’s the last time we go to Manillas!
Just to note, that it’s a cafe - not 5 star dining! If the tables are taken, maybe pop a reserved sign on them!!

真的很难过,因为这个地方本来可以很棒!
离开后,我们去了米尔福德码头吃早餐——这是我们最后一次去马尼拉了!
需要注意的是,这是一家咖啡馆——不是五星级餐厅!如果桌子被占了,也许可以挂个“已预订”的牌子!!
