点评：Reading the reviews on here we were anticipating something great for Sunday lunch for my wife’s birthday the reality was an overall disappointment. We arrived as booked at 1.30 having being told last food orders were 2 on a Sunday. We had just sat down when the waitress asked us if we were ready to order we asked for a bit more time and after 30 minutes I went to find out at the bar when our waitress would be returning. She arrived a few minutes late took our order then we sat until around 40 minutes later when the food arrived. I think we were that hungry we’d of eaten anything but the food was average at best with some hard roasts (undercooked) water gravy and burnt yorkshires. We decided to give the dessert a try and were told by the waitress she would return with the dessert board after 15 minutes I went the bar to be told abruptly the kitchen is closed. We are in our first full day of the holiday and were intending to use the pub a couple of times during our stay needless to say we will be going elsewhere. I have given 2stars as overall the staff in the main were friendly, the location is beautiful and the beer selection is Marvellous but the food was bland, under or overcooked and that was the main reason we visited.
