点评：Had dinner and booked for about 1800hrs. We could choose any table set for two. We ordered the battered cod which came with chips and garden peas, plus tartar sauce. The young lady serving was lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. There was a chap there that was also serving and you could tell they were happy in their job as they joked and were very helpful. We settled the bill, which was very reasonable and thanked Will behind the bar who we chatted to when we first came in. The atmosphere in the lounge was quiet and relaxing. There were only six tables, I think which was just right for me and my husband as we just wanted a quiet dinner. The decor is amazing. The old beams had hundreds of tons jugs of all shapes and sizes. In the bar which is small, is where we had drinks but mostly outside during the week we stayed in the village, has numerous cups and mugs in the beams too. It’s really fascinating to view them. Very impressed. Loved the place.
