点评：So we have eaten here a few times now over the years and always had great food and great service , but today Sunday 22nd June was not to their usual standard all at. My husband ordered a started and after 55 minutes our main courses turned before my husband starter. They seemed surprised that we had not had our starter. So meals sent back and then we had to wait for the starter. Because mine was fish I asked if I would get a new one or would if just be reheated , I was told that it will be a fresh fish, but my husband’s being a pie would be reheated. Finally the main meals turned up and it was obvious that mine had either been reheated or left under a hot lamp. The ends of the fish that were not covered by the ham were brown ,dry and curled up. The mozzarella cheese was clumped together and dried out, not good at all. I still ate as I did not want to wait another 50 minutes. When we paid and left, no did you have a good meal , no thank you nothing . Very poor service . The diners next to us asked three times for mustard, by the time he got it he had eaten half of his meal. It arrived in a Colman’s jar with no spoon to get it out . He used a clean knife from another table. When we left he was still waiting for his mothers water which he had asked for twice.
Sorry Rose and Crown but your standard today was just terrible. Such a shame as we really have loved coming and eating but if that’s what it is like now will not be coming again. It was our anniversary as well.
