点评：We’d been given an afternoon tea voucher for Christmas and went on a Sunday to spend it. I think we timed it well as there were plenty of tables free when we got there but none available when we left. Obviously a popular place
We shared an afternoon tea. It came with a choice of four sandwiches, various fancies and a scone (which by the time we got to it was plenty to share we were so full. It came with a pot of tea, hot water, sugar cubes, milk all served in old fashioned silver pots. The food was really fresh and filling
They also do main meals as well as the afternoon teas and sandwiches etc. the lady next to us got a chicken roast dinner and I don’t think I’ve seen a portion so large. She said it was delicious but doubted she’d finish it all it was so big.
It’s a very old fashioned looking place, but that is their selling point. Proper tablecloths and napkins. Really enjoyed it and would go back again
