克利夫诺顿旅馆的点评
点评：This is a good hotel, well situated just a few hundred yards from the town centre.
The room was fine and properly cleaned.. Food was good, especially the breakfast, and our server Petra was highly efficient. Entertainment was OK. All staff were friendly.
Now for the drawbacks. The hotel is not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. The lift is tiny and there are no toilets on the ground floor. Even the dining room is on the first floor.
My main grouse is with the bar. On three consecutive nights, with three different servers, I was charged three different prices for the same order.
First night. A pint of lager and a lemon and lime £8.40. Next night (same order, served by bar manageress) £6.10. I told her about the discrepancy and she confirmed £6.10 was correct. Next night, different server, £5.80.
I put a "poor" rating on my comment card and was later harangued by the bar manageress for "getting her into trouble".
At no stage was the overcharge refunded - so I am £2.30 out of pocket.
So,this is a good hotel, but watch out for yo-yo bar prices.
