The Ship Inn的点评
点评：We visited The Ship Inn during a family trip to Weymouth and had a mostly positive experience, with a few bumps worth noting.
Pros:
The location is fantastic, right on the harbour.
Decor and vibe were lovely: classic coastal pub charm.
The menu had a good variety, and overall the food was decent value for a popular seaside town.
Big plus: they accept Blue Light Card (emergency service) discounts, which is always appreciated!
My brother declared his fish and chips the best he’s ever had!
Cons:
Unfortunately, we experienced a 45-minute delay for our food with no heads-up when ordering. A simple “just to let you know there’s a bit of a wait” would’ve made a world of difference.
2 out of 4 meals arrived with cold chips, which likely sat out a while.
The team were clearly overrun and doing their best, but it did feel a little chaotic when we arrived.
All that said, I wouldn’t write this place off. The food itself has potential, and the staff were friendly despite the pressure. I’d definitely give it another try, perhaps at a quieter time.
