点评：Although there are some decent people working in the Grantham McDonald’s (which has the most awkward placement in town/on the road for picking up from the drive-through), there are some that let the ball slip very badly.
There always, always seems to be a missing item in every order, especially when ordered online for delivery. We’ve stopped ordering as a result. It’s just not worth the hassle. On this one particular occasion, we had a terrible experience. We’d had our McDonald’s order delivered to us so we could just cozy down and there was a McChicken Sandwich missing. This prompted one of my family members to have to go all the way into the restaurant, in the pitch black cold of night, in order to sort out the mistake.
Unfortunately, one of the managers here, Josh, doesn’t have any real managerial skills. His answer to the (calm and very much justified) request to have the missing item that was fully paid for given over was to say ‘Leave or I’ll call the police.’ Just for the record, that’s not only a blaring sign of weak managerial skills (or complete lack thereof), but the police will also not bother with such issues (We know, because they were called straight afterwards), so it’s a pathetic, empty threat.
In short, Heaven help you if you if there’s something wrong with your order and you have to encounter Josh, as the man is totally rude and completely useless. I’d suggest the higher ups please send him on a management and customer service course because he needs to improve. I swear the amount of times this particular branch has missed items from orders should also equate to an investigation into fraudulent activity, because customers should not be handing over their money for no product. That’s very shady.
