Coffee Culture In The Park的点评
点评：Arrived at 2:40pm after a lovely visit to Shibden Hall. The staff told us the cafe was open until 4:30pm. The website also stated this.
We walked down the hill only to find a sign on the counter saying “Kitchen is now closed” so we could only get hot or cold drinks or ice-cream.
Most of the tables were packed up with a guy putting all the chairs upside down on the tables around us. We were not made to feel welcome at all and more of a nuisance that we were in the way whilst we drank our tea and coffee. Chose to move to a table in front of the tills that still appeared to be operational. I’m sure it can’t possibly take over 1.5 hours to clear down. Surely cold sandwiches or salads could still have been served? Their loss and we took our custom into Halifax town Centre instead. Would highly recommend a visit to Shibden Hall but don’t bother with the café.
