点评：Tried to book a table for seven people giving six weeks notice. Was told by staff we could not come at our chosen time of 6pm and told we could either come at 4 or 8pm. We agreed 5pm even though it felt a bit early. We were then told we needed to pay a large deposit of £140 to secure the booking. We agreed to this. But then we were told that should any one person in our party not turn up we would be subject to a cancellation charge of £20 per person!
As both my parents are elderly and can occasionally suffer ill health we decided against booking. It felt like Riccis were making us jump through hoops and were only concerned about the money. When tables of two, four to five are not subject to these policies it felt very unfair to impose a £20 fee should any in our partynot turn up! The deposit should have been enough of a security bond. Way to make your customers feel welcome! Ricci’s - You took all the pleasure out of us all anticipating a lovely family evening out. We won’t be dining here again. Thankfully there are far more welcoming places in Halifax with no such restrictive policies in place.
