All around ok but could do with improving

点评：This is a pretty average hotel. When we arrived we were charged with a £100 deposit. This was refundable but we were not expecting to have to pay this as it did not say on the website. We requested (a week prior) a little oat milk (or milk alternative) for the room but were provided with none as they didn’t have any. There was no jug of water either in the room (requested also), although when I asked them they gave us some. The hotel is in a perfect location right next to the Piece Hall which is ideal for gigs. However, the hotel is loud at night and we were kept awake with people upstairs running a bath with the TV on.
The room was dated but fine. However, there were massive stains on the carpet and some stains on the surfaces that did not come off. We were also bitten by fleas (found 2 of them!) in the night. However, apart from this everything else was fine. The breakfast in the morning was superb! And the staff were friendly. With a few improvements this hotel could be much better.
