Good location but that's all
皇冠大酒店的点评
点评：We have stayed there before and the hotel has been redecorated. The hotel was lacking in atmosphere. There was no bar or food and apart from the receptionist we didn't see anybody. My husband was offered an upgrade to an executive room.
The room was on 2 levels - the ground floor consisted of the bathroom, tea and coffee facilities a sofa and armchair. The cushion was stained.
The 1st floor consisted of the bed and television. The tv was was on the dressing table which meant I couldn't use the mirror to dry my hair. Sitting on the bed to watch the tv I couldn't see the whole screen. The bedside light on my side of the bed had no switch and was positioned quite high up.
As we had to use the stairs to get to the bathroom in the night we had to leave the light downstairs on or there could have been an accident.
This must be the worst designed room and we won't be staying there again.
We did go back and again we only stayed because of it's location to Piece Hall. It has the ambience of a breeze block. The radiator was not working though the 2nd time we mentioned it the receptionist did arrange a heater. The cook had not turned up for breakfast and the 2 waiters coped but no poached eggs and my husband's breakfast looked burnt. Halifax is lovely
