点评:We booked a table for two on a Sunday evening for 7pm. The restaurant has a “Sunday Special” and I accept that it was busy.
We stood having entered and spoke to three different employees until we were finally directed to a table. We then waited, and were asked if we wanted to order drinks. A pint and a half of lager arrived after a 15 minute wait. We had poppadoms and starters. We then waited. By 8.25 the main courses eventually arrived. The delay was really poor.
The food was ranging from good to mediocre. We had a starter platter. Some things were really nice, but other things such as pakoras and kebabs were lukewarm. As for the main courses, the naan bread ordered arrived over 5 minutes after the main courses were eventually delivered.
In 2025, I do not expect to be charged £2 extra per person to pay for a meal by debit card!.
I won’t bother going again. We’ve had takeaways previously and they were really good, but the standard of food and, in particular, service was very poor.
