点评：I booked a table for dinner having seen the tasting menu on your website. On arrival, we found the menu was like a glorified steakhouse with most main dishes being served with fried onion rings - and no tasting menu! We felt we had gone back in time to the 1980's. Why would anyone cook a fresh Lemon Sole and serve it with fried onion rings, limp watercress and grilled tomatoes? Little details like butter in a packet on your side plate is also not we expected from a hotel claiming to be 5 star; it was more like a motorway service station. Even for a steakhouse, the quality of food would not be good enough to warrant a second visit. We have loved coming regularly to Luton Hoo over many years and still love the building and the dining room but PLEASE serve food that is befitting this wonderful asset. Many other restaurants do steak and chips for half the price. Such a shame.
