点评：Have visited this pub many times and were keen to see it under new ownership.
The good bits.Welcoming friendly owner, pleasant staff, good quirky decor. Each dish carefully presented.
The bits for improvement. Menu now more run-of-the-mill but specials board added interest.
Our main problem was the food was bland. Our sardine starter and salmon and fennel dishes had no flavour/taste. How can fennel not taste of anything? Also there was copious use of butter and cream. My potatoes were swimming in butter and the salmon which came with a sauce was a bowl of salmon and fennel in a creamy/butter ‘soup’. Just too rich without flavour.
If they could dial back the cream/fat and add some seasoning it’d be better.
Of course, maybe it’s our palate and others prefer this style cooking, but it’s not for us.
Do visit though. It’s still a lovely pub.

不过，一定要来这里看看。这仍然是一家很棒的酒吧。
