点评：What has happened to our lovely village pub 😢
Our anniversary today so we thought we would pop in the local for lunch we want to support them as I know costs for everything have gone up ... but the food was poor in comparison to what they used to serve .. £8 for a goats cheese and beetroot salad was a bit embarrassing really (pic of teeny tiny portion) .. don't try and be posh if you can't deliver .. microwaved pork belly at a guess as some was really hot and some luke warm with soggy fat and a very rare burger ... I'm assuming as I asked for my nibble plates served as a main and they didn't do it so rushed the burger .... although they said there would be a wait and I said we were in absolutely no rush ... £17 for a wine and a beer they should have made us wait longer and cooked it properly so we had another round !!!🤷♀️ bring back the tapas old menu .... easy to cook good food ... I think the chef is trying too hard and failing miserably and I really hope this changes as we would hate for such a lovely pub within walking distance to sit empty ! I would have let the amazing staff know but we were outside and didn't see anyone when we had finished, they were all lovely but we would be down there a whole lot more like we were if there was decent well cooked food on the menu !
