点评：Booked in for Sunday lunch with family. Sat down immediately but no menus on table and no one came to take a drinks order or see if we wanted food so had to ask. When ordering was told the fryer wasn’t working so couldn’t order some kids items (half of kids menu is fried) so that limited us. - we could have been told this when sat down.
Ordered Sunday lunches and told they’d be there soon. Over an hour goes by with no one giving and update and we had to ask to be told five minutes. But still another 20 mins before anyone got food. In the mean time the table next to us also was waiting an hour and had a hungry infant who was getting upset. We chased again and was told this time the chef had a medical emergency. Completely appreciate it’s beyond anyone’s control but no communication to the tables that had ordered food and was waiting over an hour and if the emergency was that bad close the kitchen and inform customers - communication was zero from all staff members.
When food did come we was missing Yorkshire puddings and various meat.Yorkshire pudding were over cooked but every thing was great. Portions were big and everything did taste good
The pub is lovely inside and out but was really let down and this was our first visit so I’d be hesitant to come again
