点评:Had dinner here on Tuesday evening, the place was packed when I arrived at 8pm and I highly recommend booking. I had the Gravlax to start and it was amazing, I am trying to increase my fish consumption and had some trepidations but wow, it was delicious and I have had withdrawal symptoms since I tasted something, which for me, was heaven on a plate. I then had the pork belly, everything from the pork with the most wonderful crackling to the green beans, carrots and the buttery mash were cooked to perfection and came with a perfectly paired and very generously sized gravy boat of delight, it was all just lovely. I had to skip the apple puree it usually comes with due to an allergy, but I can only imagine with this addition it would elevate the dish to ever greater heights, I got so excited perusing the menu I only remembered to highlight the apple issue when the very kind and diligent lady who took my order checked for any allergies, that was a real save for me and a credit to the pub as not all places look after people so well. By the time I left I was the one with the porky belly and I cannot wait to return.
