点评:This family run establishment is the epitome of Caribbean hospitality. It’s like being invited into a family home. Sharon, the grandma and rum punch mixologist, has such a natural way about her, she was born for the hospitality industry. Sharon’s daughter, Chef Glam, produces some wonderful local cuisine, and Chef’s daughter (sorry I didn’t get her name) is such a polite young lady who was a fabulous waitress.
We had fishcake starter to share, the batter was so light and the portion very generous. For mains I had pineapple glazed chicken with coconut rice, whilst hubby went for catch of the day, blue marlin. Both dishes were cooked to perfection.
They also boast 12 rum punch cocktails, we managed to work our way through six of them, each more delicious than the last. We will have to return to complete the list!
Local band, Samsound (Sharon’s son) also perform although they weren’t playing when we were there, but there is background music which adds to the atmosphere.
There were plenty of locals dining, which always bodes well. This place is a must of you’re in the area!
