点评：We visited Mylos restaurant three times during our recent stay.
It is off the beaten track as other reviews say, but well worth hunting it out. The roads are actually quite well lit so not a difficult drive if returning home late. They are pretty much open every day apart from Wednesdays.
It's a family run restaurant and the young friendly teenager ( whose english is good) tells us that his grandma does the cooking.
Wonderful mountain views from the restaurant - very peaceful.
We went once at lunchtime and twice in the evening. Be prepared to take things slowly if you go at lunchtime. We were the only guests- we were served lovely bread and Salad fairly quickly but our mains- kaourma ( lamb stew) and lamb's liver were freshly cooked. They were absolutely delicious and worth the wait.
Very good house white - they get their wines from Kolios Vineyard which has an excellent reputation - we tried several wines during our 3 visits and didn't experience a bad wine.
They cook with local ingredients and have a wide and varied menu. We enjoyed the Kleftiko one evening and on the 3rd occasion there was some excellent pork and chicken souvla as well as some delicious vegetarian options.
My mum was Cypriot and she used to make me and my children a dessert when we would visit. I described it and the last time we ate at the restaurant they cooked it specially for us!
Very generous portions and great value for money. 6 of us ate one evening and the bill was €130 for several courses, drinks and 2 bottles of the top wine from Kolios Vinery. They then brought out their home made liqueurs on the house!
Thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you are staying nearby.
