The place is nice, service is good, drink package also good and the tartar (not part of the menu) was nice. The menu itself felt like below avarage and the pricing of this restaurant is way above avarage fine dining in Finland the overall experience felt not right. 1. scallops: Very avarage nothing special. Plenty of restaurants where you would get better ones for less tho. 2. Mushroom soup: the taste was alright, quite salty. Composition of the soup very thick. The added extra mushrooms tasted completely different and did not connect with the dish. 3. Pork and mashed potatoes: Pork was not the worst but far from the best I have had. Mashed potatoes probabbly made out of instant powder mix. Few lingonberries a nice idea but overall did not connect with the dish. 4. Salty liquorice mascarpone icecream. Quite bold one I am sure not everyone likes it. Old lady at the next table could not eat it at all. I personally found it alright but far from something you should expect at place like this and in the price range. Usually the dessert makes you really feel like ”wow”. This did not.
I would not recommend this place because the price and what you get does not feel right.
